UPSTAIRS, DOWNSTAIRS
One of London Weekend Television's international successes of the 1970s, 'Upstairs, Downstairs' was a period drama which was set in a posh household just before World War One and up to the General Strike of 1926. 'Upstairs, Downstairs' ran from 1971 to 1975.
A new BBC adaptation of 'Upstairs, Downstairs' was screened in 2010, on BBC1.
