Craig Runyon Interview

White Light DMC 011 (Dead Man's Curve) Distributed by Red Rhino

Words thrown around like stones, but never wasted. The first track, "Peace", is reminiscent of PIL's early stuff - musically, solid back-beat with jangly, loose guitar. "Boggey Creek" includes violin, gentle Pretenders-like guitar, with Craig's voice jerking me out of my seat mid-way through. "Drugs... Jack" ain't no bullshit jive. "Baltimore Part Two" is horror movie stuff. "This Love", dedicated to M. L. King, is beautiful poetry and music interwoven. "White Light" is avant garde jazz with Buddhist lyrics. Yep, this album is different.
