Jane Fonda is sexy as hell in this adult sci-fi romp. Jane is Barbarella, and comes across the evil Duran Duran (Milo O'Shea) and his deadly orgasmatron, which stimulates people to die in ecstasy. He was so bad he inspired the name for a certain English rock band. However, Anita Pallenberg is seriously scary as The Great Tyrant (brave man that Keith Richards). Ms. Fonda, under the direction of husband at the time, Roger Vadim, plays it all for laughs, and has a nice companion in the shape of blind angel Pygar (John Phillip Law). Look out for David Hemmings as the curiously named Dildano. - Paul Rance.
