The original 1960s 'Batman' TV series had 120 episodes between 1965 and 1967, and spawned the 1966 feature film of the same name. There was an animated series of 'Batman' in 1977, of 16 episodes, entitled 'The New Adventures Of Batman'(?) - featuring the voices of Adam West(?) and Burt Ward(?).

Batman - The Movie ( Comments on Batman (1966) - The Movie
What great fun the '60s television series 'Batman' was, and this film doesn't disappoint fans of Adam West's camp, caped crusader. Burt Ward hams it up as much as ever, as Robin, and is, er, as dynamic as ever, and Lee Weriwether is a gorgeous Catwoman (weren't they all?). Many of the top baddies are in this film, with the same actors as from the TV series. Lots of gadgets, too, and as a child I hoped to see them in regular use one day. Oh well... - Paul Rance.

Good update of dear old Bats. Michael Keaton plays the title role straighter than Adam West, and Jack Nicholson is superbly manic as the Joker, while the normally smouldering Kim Basinger shows she can be vulnerable and sweet as Vicki Vale. - Paul Rance.
