Goth greats The Cult, who were formed in 1983, reunited for a fullscale world tour in 2006, making their comeback appearance on 24th February, 2006, on the 'Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson'. The Cult's 2006 line-up was: Ian Astbury (vocals), Billy Duffy (lead guitar), John Tempesta (drums), Mike Dimkitch (rhythm guitarist), and Chris Wyse (bass). Astbury also followed in the footsteps of Jim Morrison as frontman for rock legends The Doors in the early years of the 21st Century. Astbury, Duffy, and Tempesta remain in The Cult today, and 2016 saw the release of their 10th studio album, Hidden City. |
