To British real*ty TV fans, Shilpa Shetty is known for winning 'Celery Gig Bother', but the girl is an award winning Indian actress, has appeared in around 50 films, and has campaigned for worthy causes such as PETA and HIV-AIDS, and done a bit of modelling.
Born on June 8th, 1975, in Tamil Nadu, India, Shilpa's film career began in 1993 with her appearance in 'Baazigar'. A year later she took her first lead in 'Aag'. Even real*ty TV haters like myself desperately wanted her to win 'Celery Gig Bother', and I wondered, as a Brit, if we could do a swap with India. We'll have Shilpa, India can have the unholy trinity of Baddie, O'Measle, and Lead.
