Clint Eastwood was born in San Francisco, California, on May 31st, 1930, and went on to become one of the most unlikely of movie superstars, coming straight out of hit American TV Western series 'Rawhide' into Spaghetti Western immortality as the man with no name. Eastwood has also gained great acclaim as a director, winning two Oscars - for 'Unforgiven (1992)', and 'Million Dollar Baby (2004)'.
