Ultra Vivid Scene (4AD)

Promising LP with lots of interesting nuances and some good songs. "Mercy Seat" is the much-vaunted song, with wondrous guitars and eerie appeal. "A Dream of Love" is a neat, softer song, as is "Lynn Maie #1, a memorable haunter with tinkling keyboards. No duff stuff here, and some real classics.
