Compassionate, but positive poetry from a gifted poetess, which is heavily influenced by nature and life's experiences. Shaheen Darr's work is also littered with powerful imagery, such as in 'God' and 'A Caged Bird'. The beautiful poem 'She Lives' underlines the fact that we never truly die, and that we live on in nature - "Reborn amongst nature's bounties." While the poem 'Dreams' captures that unsettling, but sometimes magical world we enter when we sleep. An excellent collection.
