ESCAPE FROM ALCATRAZ
(1979)

One of Clint Eastwood's finest films, as he plays a prisoner who will use ingenious means to escape one of America's most notorious prisons.

Patrick McGoohan impresses as the prison's Governor, who seems to lack any semblance of humanity.

Clint plays the tough guy with a soft centre, as he befriends the prison's mouse, but he's tough when he needs to be, and is mentally tough and brave enough to try and escape.
